The NXF is entering an exciting new chapter, and we want you to be part of it!
As Ireland’s longest-running LGBTQ+ organisation, we are finalising a new strategic plan focused on connecting, cultivating, and celebrating the LGBTQ+ movement across Ireland. We are building the infrastructure needed to support a strong, connected, and sustainable ecosystem of LGBTQ+ activists, organisations, and communities.
To help guide this next phase of our work, we are seeking new members to join our Board of Directors. Board members provide strategic oversight, contribute their expertise, strengthen our networks, and help ensure the organisation remains resilient and impactful for years to come.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking people who are passionate about LGBTQ+ liberation and committed to strengthening the movement across Ireland.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Digital communications and social media
• Public relations, press, and storytelling
• Community outreach, engagement, and movement-building
• Research, archiving, and knowledge production
We also welcome expressions of interest from people with skills and experience beyond these areas.
You do not need previous board experience to apply. We recognise that leadership takes many forms and welcome applications from people with lived experience and community knowledge, as well as professional expertise.
We encourage applications from people who are most impacted by systemic oppression, including trans and intersex people, disabled people, people of colour, people from migrant backgrounds, and those from communities that have historically been underrepresented in leadership positions.
