Emily is a communications consultant. After a decade in agency PR working on social justice and equality campaigns, she founded her own bespoke communications consultancy – Birch, delivering communications services for clients across the not-for-profit, arts and culture and public sectors.
Emily joined the NXF from a desire to give back to the community who has given her so much. At the NXF she coordinates the annual GALAS awards which celebrates Ireland’s wonderful LGBTQ+ people, organisations and companies working to create a more inclusive and equal Ireland.
From Tipperary, she lives in Dún Laoghaire with her wife, son, and dog Fig.
