In addition to speaking with An Taoiseach Michael Martin as part of our annual NXF ‘Pride Series’ of Interviews, Board Director Adam Long also met with the leader of Ireland’s largest opposition party, Mary Lou McDonald of Sinn Fein, during the Dublin Pride 2025 festivities.
The two discussed a number of key LGBTQ+ priorities including Trans rights and healthcare, rising Hate Crime, and how Ireland needs to avoid the kind of ‘culture war’ driven toxicity and regression seen in the likes of the US and UK. You can watch the full video below.
