During the 2025 Dublin Pride celebrations, Board Director Adam Long had the opportunity to meet with An Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Micheal Martin as part of our annual ‘Pride Series’ of interviews with leading political figures.
At a time when we are witnessing an orchestrated global attack against LGBTQ+ rights and democratic freedoms more generally, Adam and the Taoiseach spoke about the need for Ireland to ‘double down’ in advancing LGBTQ+ equality and working with like minded countries both in the European Union and beyond. A number of other key LGBTQ+ policy priorities were also discussed. You can watch the full video below.
